American Photo Magazine has published its list of The 10 Best Wedding Photographers in the World.
Joe Buissink , Jen and Steve Bebb, Jeff Ascough, David Beckstead, Alisha & Brook Todd, Bambi Cantrell, Jerry Ghionis, Kevin Kubota, Christian Oth, and Denis Reggie. All these great photographers are also members of the Digital Wedding Forum. An online community exclusively by and for professional wedding photographers. I’m going to add links to their sites in the blogroll. Please feel free to check them all out. There is a reason they are the best. Its also a great way to gauge the photographers you may be considering for your own event. See how s/he measures up against the work of the best of the best. All are available for hire too if you have deep enough pockets.

They are all great photographers! Thanks for the info…Do you think that being part of associations like WPPI and the DWF has gotten the exposure to end up being recognized as the best in the world (besides, of course, their talent)? I know marketing is a key factor in getting recognized and I wonder if being part of these organizations is necessary for that?
